Every cap price below is Richardson's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) for the blank — the advertised per-cap floor before decoration, freight, or fees. Add embroidery on top using the volume-tiered rates below. The formula is simple:
Blank cap (MAP) + Embroidery + Setup ($25 art fee for new logos) = Your per-cap price

Richardson requires a 6-piece minimum per cap colorway on stock headwear. Presto Embroidery requires a $50 order minimum ($10 fee on orders under $50). There is no minimum on embroidery itself — we will stitch a single piece if you need it.

Front position embroidery up to 10,000 stitches starts at $7.00 per cap at 1-14 pieces and scales down to $3.50 per cap at 250+ pieces. Back position is $4.00 down to $2.00, side position is $2.50 down to $1.25. Volume discounts apply automatically: 20% off at 15-49 pieces, 30% off at 50-99, 40% off at 100-249, 50% off at 250+. 3D embroidery adds $1.50 per location.
How fast can you turn around a custom embroidered cap order?
Most jobs ship inside two weeks. Quotes come back within 24 hours of receiving artwork. Rush options are available if you need it faster — Richardson rush fees are +$40/garment for 1 week, +$30 for 2 weeks, +$20 for 3 weeks.
What is the difference between PTS Custom Ultra and PTS Custom USA?
PTS Custom Ultra is fully sublimated overseas production with the longest lead time but the lowest price point starting at $30 MAP. PTS Custom USA is domestically produced with faster turnaround starting at $18 MAP for the Express variant. Both programs offer the same color and decoration options.

Specialty decoration is priced separately from direct embroidery — request a custom quote for details.
