Real work from a working embroidery shop.
Presto Embroidery has been Birmingham's custom embroidery shop since 2004. Two decades, eight commercial machines, and more than 500,000 garments later, we still do every step under one roof: artwork digitizing, sample stitchout, production, and finishing. The portfolio below is a working sample of what comes off our floor in any given month: brewery merch programs, leather patch trucker caps, corporate uniform runs, veteran-owned business gear, lifestyle apparel for restaurants and pubs, and a long list of jobs that don't fit a category at all.
Most embroidery you see online is white-labeled out to overseas factories. Ours isn't. These tiles are jobs run on machines you can drive past on Highway 280.

Common questions
Questions we get a lot.
Where is Presto Embroidery located?
Presto Embroidery is in Birmingham, Alabama. We've served Birmingham and the surrounding communities including Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, and Homewood since 2004. We also ship custom embroidery and patches to all 50 states.
What can you embroider?
We embroider polos, button-downs, jackets, quarter-zips, hats, beanies, tote bags, towels, robes, aprons, blankets, t-shirts, baby gifts, team jerseys, leather patch caps, and custom patches. If a fabric can hold a needle, we've stitched it.
What is your minimum order?
Our minimum custom embroidery order is $100. Volume discounts begin at 12 pieces. We accept customer-supplied items at quantities of 12 units or more.
How long does custom embroidery take?
Standard production turnaround is 10 to 14 business days. Rush production is available in 5 business days. Quotes are returned within 24 hours by a real person, not an automated tool.
Do you digitize logos?
Yes. We digitize logos in-house. Vector files such as .ai, .eps, and .pdf are ideal, but we can work from a high-resolution PNG or JPG, or even a photo of a business card if that's all you have.
Do you outsource any of your embroidery?
No. All embroidery is produced in-house at our Birmingham facility on Tajima and Ricoma multi-head commercial machines. Real machines, real craftspeople, no outsourcing.
Do you do brewery and restaurant merch?
Yes. We've done embroidered merch programs for breweries, restaurants, and pubs across Alabama and the Southeast, including Birmingham District Brewing, Back Forty Beer Co, Naked River Brewing, Innisfree Irish Pub, Moon Pie, and Red Diamond Coffee & Tea.
